THE MORNINGSTONE LEGACY - 1987 TO THE PRESENT

CHANGELING (1974), MORNINGSTONE (1987),
and now, CHANGELING'S RETURN (2018).

This musical fantasy adventure set in the contemporary Midlands of England, and in the supernatural realm of Morningstone, is Travis Edward Pike's tale of Morgen, an American rockstar whose out-of-body experience triggers a sudden, profound commitment to the environment and a dramatic change in his music, its lyrical content, and its purpose, is more timely than ever, as climate change and negligence trigger disasters all across our planet. In Western folklore, a changeling is a fairy or troll child to replace a human baby, the steal from its cradle. Whether Morgen, a foundling, as an adult becomes pixilated in the supernatural realm, or a changeling, reared by humans, who upon being returned to his otherworldly roots, is reawaked to his origins and returns to our world to fulfill his supernatural purpose is deliberately left clouded, but this story works either way. Travis is now adapting his screenplay into a novel, scheduled for publication in 2019. The book will also feature an appendix about the history, folklore, mythology, sympathetic magic, and supernatural elements in this fascinating fantasy adventure.
